* Yes, I co-opt the demonym that belongs to the people of Denmark in order to refer to things related to me.

See, the problem people have with the Oxford comma is that it puts a pause where some think one doesn’t belong. The idea is that “I went to the market to get triple sec, limes and tequila” is better, or more modern, than “I went to the market to get triple sec, limes, and tequila.” And the Shatner comma? It, does, nothing, but, put, pauses, where, they, do, not, belong.

I’m still going to love, honor, and use it.
I usually refer to it as the serial comma, but I’m going to call it the Oxford comma as a passive-aggressive display of loyalty.
Sign 1: “VOTE NO SCHOOL LEVY’S”
Sign 2: “The correct plural form of levy is levies, not ‘LEVY’S.’ Support your schools!”
